Project Definition:

Build an IoT-based smart warehouse management solution that can enable real-time monitoring and reporting of warehouse utilities.

 

Requirements:

onEnergy needed a smart warehouse management solution that can automate the monitoring and reporting functionalities of warehouse utilities, like water tank, water meter, hydropneumatics system, firefighting system, and diesel generators.

  • Install IoT boards (Microcontrollers) across all the warehouse utilities

Challenges:

  • Pressure sensor installation and configured its output to iot board
  • Diesel engine: running hour module was not generating the precise and desired output
  • Faced some challenges on processing the json output from iot gateway to cloud iot core services
  • Implementing data analytics solutions for solving various IoT device challenges and ensuring efficiency in the warehouse-based decision-making
  • Identifying trigger points to turn ON/OFF warehouse safety measures.
